Ecology Environmental Excursions
Features
AUSECO ecology field studies are designed to meet the requirements of the science syllabus documents. The excursion is run by the AUSECO guides and all necessary scientific equipment is provided.
Benefits
Students work in small groups, using a wide range of equipment for a hands-on learning experience. There are a wide variety of topics, environments and locations to choose from.
Prices for 2010
For all Sydney excursions: $ 24 per student + GST (= $ 26.40). For all Wollongong excursions: $ 26 per student + GST (= $ 28.60). There is a minimum fee of $ 370 (including GST) for a day´s excursion. A 25% holding deposit is required within two weeks of your booking.
Teachers Pack
An excursion pack containing a master copy of the excursion worksheets, details of the days activities and requirements will be sent out prior to the excursion. Assessment tasks are also available for most excursions and will be sent out after the excursion.
After the excursion
A final package will be sent to the teacher following the excursion (usually posted that afternoon!) Included will be a DVD with:
* Answer sheets (for high school excursions)
* Assessment tasks (for senior excursions)
* Extra information on animals or relevant articles
* Photos taken of students doing feild work from the excursion.
* A selection of printed photos from the days activities!

Years 7-10 Junior Science, Preliminary and HSC Biology, Senior Science and Earth & Environmental Science Field Studies and Overnight Field Studies.
