• Soldier Crabs

  Soldier crabs (FAMILY MICTYRIDAE) are a unique group of crabs that live on tidal mudflats in sandy estuaries and mangroves. In Australia they are found from Western Australia around the top end of Australia to Wilson’s Promontory in Victoria.
